If you want to grow efficiently as a VTuber, you need the right tools in your toolbox. This chapter covers essential programs, apps, and resources to streamline your workflow, save time, and increase your content’s quality — even if you’re a one-gremlin team.

✦ PART 1: Scheduling Tools

Content creation is already hard enough. Don’t let posting be another battle.

A good post-scheduling app will let you plan your content ahead of time, save time on cross-posting, and stay consistent even when you’re sick, tired, or busy.

Clips and Shorts are one of your biggest growth tools. But editing takes time…

unless you have the right program.

User-friendly interface — perfect for beginners
Insanely fast compared to Adobe Premiere or DaVinci
Smart tools like:
- Silence detection (auto-cutting quiet parts)
- Drag-and-drop effects
- Easy meme captioning
- Presets for social media dimensions

💸 Price: Around $20/month for premium features

🌟 Worth it? YES. If you want to make Shorts quickly, this is a lifesaver.

Other Options:

CapCut Desktop – Great for free edits, but limited control
DaVinci Resolve – Powerful, but has a steep learning curve
Adobe Premiere – Industry standard, expensive, slower for simple projects

If you’re making content regularly, Filmora will save you literal hours per video.

✦ PART 3: Social Platform Upgrades

People always ask me: “Is Twitter Blue / Instagram Premium / Threads Verified worth it?”

✦ Here’s my honest answer:

If you’re just here for fun — no, don’t worry about it.

But if you’re treating VTubing as a business or long-term career?

Then yes, invest in the tools.

Why? Because:

Twitter Blue / Premium boosts your visibility in replies and search
Instagram Premium boosts you in Reels feeds and recommendations
Threads Verified gives you early access to features
These platforms prioritize paid users in the algorithm — it’s in the code

Even just $8/month can shift your reach, especially if you’re consistent.

Is it fair? No.

Is it real? Unfortunately, yes.

So if you can afford it and you’re serious? Do it.

✦ PART 4: Discord Tools

A lot of VTubers are running full communities on Discord now — and you need tools to help.

🔧 Tools to Try:

HammerTime – Lets you convert timezones for collabs and events
BePlan (again) – YES, it even lets you schedule Discord posts
SapphireBot / CarlBot / MEE6 – Role reaction, server automation, Twitch alerts, clip-of-the-day, etc.

If you’re running events, redebuts, or collab-heavy Discords, scheduling + timezone bots are non-negotiable. Trust me. You’ll thank yourself later.
